Kinetic Scotland

Kinetic Scotland uses modern experimental filmmaking techniques (such as time-lapse and aerial drone) film making to create films that showcase the beauty of Scotland in unique ways.

The project is headed by Walid Salhab who has won international acclaim for his "Kinetic" series of films which have received millions of views on YouTube and has won awards for his short films at festivals across the world.

Each shot from his Kinetic series is created using thousands of photos which he takes while moving inches at a time before the next photo is taken. Shots can take up to 12 hours to film but result in stunning and unique of Walid's chosen subject matter, whether it be Edinburgh, The Kelpies in Falkirk or Scotland's East Coast.
