Craig Cathcart (MSc, LLB, Dip, LP, DTS) is aÌýSenior LecturerÌýin the Queen ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵt Business School. He is also an affiliateÌýmemberÌýof theÌýConsumer Dispute Resolution Centre and an associate member of the Centre for Applied Social Sciences.

Craig is an experienced academic with a substantial background in learning, teaching, research and knowledge exchange projects.
From a background in consumer law, Craig has developed expertise in the areas of mediation, negotiation and wider dispute resolution.
Subject specialisms include mediation, negotiation, ombudsmen, ADR, business law, and leadership. Craig is a practicing mediator and a qualified non-directive coach.
Until the end of 2021, Craig was convener of the Law Society of Scotland's Regulatory Committee, the statutory body overseeing all aspects of the regulation of solicitors. He is also a board member of Scottish Mediation and of the University of Strathclyde Mediation Clinic.

Craig teaches mediation and negotiation at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Craig's seminars and lectures also focus on Business Law, amongst other topics.
Previous taught subjects include contract law, tort, criminal law, consumer law, marketing, management and leadership.Ìý
